What do I need to run Auto Typer?
Chrome, including Chromebooks. No account for the free version, and Duey Pro for Auto Typer Pro. School and work accounts are fine.
- Browser: anywhere Chrome runs, including Mac, Windows, Linux and Chromebooks.
- Account: none for the free extension. A free Duey account unlocks more customization. Auto Typer Pro needs Duey Pro.
- School or work documents: fine. Auto Typer types into whatever document is open in your browser, and your Duey account is separate from the Google or Microsoft account that owns the document.
- Both extensions? For Pro typing in Docs, Slides and Word Online, the Pro extension is all you need. You can keep the free one alongside it for Fast typing and the Humanizer.
- Keep the tab active while it types. If you want to walk away, use Sessions instead.
